THE TRUTH ABOUT LABORATORY-GROWN DIAMONDS
We believe in giving you the full picture. Laboratory-grown diamonds exist, and they have their place. They are created in manufacturing facilities using industrial methods, either by:
These processes produce real diamond material, but in a matter of weeks—not millennia. While laboratory-grown diamonds are chemically similar to natural diamonds, they are not identical. They also lack the natural origin, the geological rarity, and the value retention of their natural counterparts.
To the naked eye, a laboratory-grown and a natural diamond may look similar—but at a deeper level, they are not the same. Specialised equipment exists to distinguish between the two, and that difference matters.

Responsibility, Traceability, and Doing Good

At De Vere Diamonds, we only work with natural diamonds that can be traced from ‘origin to ownership’ through documented evidence supplied by third party partners. We will only accept responsibly sourced natural diamonds that are purchased under the World Diamond Council (WDC) Sytsem of Warranties (SoW) Our diamonds are certified and tracked using blockchain-based traceability technology, giving you full transparency from the mine of origin to your finger.
We source from trusted supply chain partners who invest in their workers, support their communities, and are committed to responsible mining practices. Many of the natural diamonds we sell directly benefit the regions where they are mined and extracted, helping to fund schools, restore former mining land, and support local communities and economies.
