A laboratory-grown diamond is a real diamond. It is made of the same material and sparkles the same way. To the eye, you can’t tell them apart.
WHAT MAKES THEM DIFFERENT
A natural diamond formed more than a billion years ago, deep in the earth, before the first flowers or forests. No two share the same history, and there will never be more of them.
A laboratory-grown diamond is made in a few weeks, to order. There’s nothing wrong with that. It is simply a different thing.
A specialist laboratory or specialist equipment can always tell the two apart, and every grading report says which one it is.
PRICE AND VALUE
Laboratory-grown diamonds cost far less, and their prices keep falling as more are made. Natural diamonds are rare, which is why they have always been kept and handed on.
