Most jewellers start with a design and find a stone to fill it. We start with the diamond: a natural diamond, a billion years in the making, chosen for one person and documented from its origin.
The jewellery comes after, if and when you want it.
01 – WHERE IT CAME FROM
NATURAL. TRACED. KNOWN.
We work only with natural diamonds. Each one formed deep in the earth more than a billion years ago, and no two share the same history.
Our diamonds come from known sources, including Botswana, Canada and Namibia, and are followed on their journey with independent tracing technology. You will know where your diamond was found and the route it took to reach you.
02- WHO HANDLED IT
RESPONSIBILITY AT EVERY STEP.
Every diamond is handled only by RJC-certified partners and complies fully with the Kimberley Process and the World Diamond Council System of Warranties.
We do not buy conflict diamonds, and we do not buy diamonds subject to sanctions, including diamonds of Russian origin. We choose supply chain partners for their human rights and environmental standards, from the mine to the cutting and polishing bench.
Where a diamond comes from matters. So does what it leaves behind.
03 – WHAT IT IS
A DIAMOND WITH IDENTITY.
Every De Vere Diamonds natural diamond can be identified with certainty:
Its grading report. Independently graded by the GIA, with a Diamond Origin Report confirming where it came from.
Its inscription. A microscopic laser inscription on the girdle links the stone to its report.
Its digital record. A verified digital identity follows it from source to hand.
Nothing assumed. Nothing hidden.
04 – WHAT IT MEANS
THE STORY STAYS WITH THE DIAMOND.
Every De Vere Diamonds natural diamond has its own Legacy Vault™, opened in its name on the day it becomes yours. It holds the diamond’s provenance and certification, then every moment that follows: the proposal, the wedding, a child’s arrival, a message recorded for someone not yet born.
Settings change. Rings are remodelled. Pendants become rings. The diamond remains, and its story goes with it.

HOW IT WORKS
CHOSEN FOR YOU, NOT SEARCHED FOR.
You will never be asked to scroll through thousands of stones. We listen to the moment, the person and what matters to you, then present three to five carefully selected natural diamonds chosen for your story and your budget, each with its grading report and origin.
Then the choice is yours. Set it now, later, or never.
If you would like to wear it, we design a bespoke setting around it, and you approve every detail through sketches and CAD before anything is made. It is then made by hand by our RJC-certified workshop partners and hallmarked in the UK. If you would rather keep it unset, it is presented in an heirloom box, complete as it is.

Every client relationship is personal. From your first conversation to the selection of your diamond and the creation of your finished piece, you deal with people who know your commission and understand why it matters.

Before you commit, you will know exactly what has been agreed, what you are paying and what happens next.
Your selected diamond is independently documented. Your bespoke design is approved before manufacture. Your finished jewellery is inspected and hallmarked. Your commission and documentation are handled securely, and delivery is arranged using appropriate insured services.
