THE BEAUTY OF MANY DIAMONDS
.A pavé setting brings small diamonds closely together, creating an almost continuous surface of light.
A diamond band can take many forms, from a delicate line of closely set stones to a more substantial ring where each diamond has a distinct presence.
Some designs are created around a prominent centre diamond.
Others have no centre stone at all.
Both offer opportunities for balance, proportion and individual expression.
The important thing is not simply how many diamonds a ring contains.
It is how beautifully they work together.
YOUR RING BEGINS WITH THE DIAMONDS
Every De Vere Diamonds commission begins by understanding what you want to create.
If your ring features a prominent centre diamond, we begin by finding that diamond for you.
We present three to five carefully selected natural diamonds, accompanied by their grading, origin and provenance information.
You choose the centre diamond.
Then we design the surrounding stones and setting around it.
For diamond bands without a centre stone, we take a different approach.
We begin with the design as a whole, selecting natural diamonds for their proportions, colour, clarity and visual harmony.
The diamonds are considered together rather than individually.
In either case, the ring is created around the diamonds selected for your commission.
DESIGNED AROUND YOU
There is no single way to create a pavé ring or diamond band.
Some clients prefer a delicate, understated line of diamonds.
Others want a more substantial design with greater presence.
We explore the possibilities together, considering how the ring will look, feel and be worn.
Every detail is developed for the individual commission.
MICRO PAVÉ
Very small diamonds set closely together, creating fine, delicate sparkle.
FRENCH PAVÉ
A setting style that exposes more of the diamonds’ sides, creating a distinctive pattern of light and metal.
SCALLOPED PAVÉ
A setting with softly shaped metal edges, often creating a delicate, traditional appearance.
DIAMOND BANDS
Natural diamonds arranged across part or all of the band, with the size, shape and spacing selected to suit the design.
HIDDEN DIAMONDS
Small natural diamonds incorporated into less visible parts of a ring, perhaps as a private detail known only to the wearer.
These are possibilities, not designs to choose from.

For pavé and diamond bands, the relationship between the stones is essential.
We consider their size, proportions, colour and appearance together so that the finished ring feels balanced.

Different setting techniques create different effects.
We help you understand the appearance, practical considerations and maintenance requirements of each.
THE BAND
The width, profile and precious metal influence both the appearance and comfort of the ring.
Your commission can be created in platinum or 18ct gold, with the design developed around your preferences.
EVERYDAY WEAR
If the ring will be worn regularly, we consider comfort, durability and the practicalities of its setting.
A band with diamonds extending all the way around may have different resizing and maintenance considerations from one with diamonds set only part-way.
We explain those differences before the design is finalised.

Every diamond used by De Vere Diamonds is natural.
For rings with a significant centre diamond, that stone is independently graded by GIA and accompanied by documented origin and provenance.
For designs containing multiple smaller diamonds, the stones are selected and documented according to their individual characteristics and the sourcing records available.
The complete commission brings together the relevant diamond, design and craftsmanship records.
Because a ring containing many diamonds should still have a story you can understand.

THE LEGACY VAULT™
A pavé ring or diamond band may contain many natural diamonds.
But it represents one commission.
Where there is a prominent centre De Vere Diamond, the Legacy Vault™ is anchored to that diamond, with the surrounding stones and complete ring documented as part of its record.
Where there is no dominant centre stone, the Legacy Vault™ is associated with the commission as a whole.
It can preserve the relevant sourcing records, design details, craftsmanship and the personal memories you choose to add.

A voice message.
A letter.
The reason the ring was commissioned.
