YOUR DE VERE DIAMOND, DELIVERED TO YOUR DOOR IN INDIA.
If you live in India, your entire De Vere Diamonds journey, from the first conversation to secure delivery, can be arranged without leaving home.
01 – YOUR CONSULTATION
We speak with you by video or WhatsApp, at a time that suits you in India. We offer appointments in the mornings and evenings IST as well as UK hours.
02 – CHOOSING YOUR DIAMOND
We send you a private video selection of three to five natural diamonds, each filmed in daylight, with its GIA grading report and Diamond Origin Report. You can compare them side by side, share them with family, and ask us anything before you decide.
03 – PRICES AND CURRENCY
All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (£). For convenience, we also show an approximate figure in rupees (₹), based on the exchange rate on the day of your quote.
Bespoke jewellery commissions begin at £3,500. First Dawn™ is priced separately. We confirm the complete delivered price before you commit.
UK VAT is not charged on orders delivered outside the United Kingdom.
04 – HOW TO PAY
Secure card payment. You can pay securely online by Visa, Mastercard or American Express, including cards issued in India. Payments are processed by Stripe, and are protected by your bank’s own security checks (OTP or app approval). De Vere Diamonds does not see or store your card details.
Please note: many Indian cards need international transactions switched on before use. This usually takes a moment in your banking app.
International bank transfer. For larger commissions, you may prefer to pay by bank transfer to our UK account. We will send you full details with your invoice.
Payment in stages. [A deposit of 50% secures your diamond. The balance is due before dispatch.]
Your bank or payment provider may apply its own exchange rate, international payment charges or requirements under Indian regulations. These are separate from the price charged by De Vere Diamonds.
05 – DELIVERY TO INDIA
Your diamond or jewellery is sent using specialist secure logistics providers such as Malca-Amit or Ferrari Group, fully insured from our hands to yours, and tracked throughout.
Import duties and taxes: Duties and taxes are included in your quote. We handle customs clearance for you, with nothing further to pay on delivery.
Delivery time: 7-10 working days from dispatch, after your piece has been completed.
Delivery to family elsewhere: we can also deliver to the UAE, the UK and most other countries. Just ask.
07 – CUSTOMS & IDENTITY CHECKS
Indian customs may require identity and tax information from the recipient, such as PAN or other KYC documentation. We will tell you what is required before dispatch so that clearance can be arranged without unnecessary delay.
08 – YOUR DOCUMENTS

Access to its Legacy Vault™, which you can open from anywhere in the world
09 – AFTER YOUR DIAMOND ARRIVES
Your Legacy Vault™ is yours from day one. Add photographs, videos and messages from anywhere, and share it with the family members you choose.
Clients in India do not need to return to London for every routine requirement. Where appropriate, cleaning, inspection and other approved aftercare can be arranged through our partners in India. For resetting, significant repairs or work affecting the diamond’s documented record, speak to us first and we will arrange the appropriate route.
Because diamonds are selected and identified for individual clients and bespoke jewellery is made to order, cancellation and return rights differ from ordinary retail purchases. We explain these terms before you commit, and your statutory rights where goods are faulty or not as described are unaffected.
QUESTIONS FROM CLIENTS IN INDIA
Who am I buying from? Your contract and purchase are with De Vere Diamonds Limited in the United Kingdom. Our specialist partners in India may assist with manufacturing, hallmarking, logistics or aftercare where appropriate, but De Vere Diamonds remains responsible for your commission.
Do I need to travel to London? No. The entire commission can be completed from India by video, WhatsApp and secure digital approvals. If you are visiting London, a private appointment can also be arranged.
Can I pay in rupees? Today, card payments are charged in pounds sterling and your bank converts the amount. Rupee payments by UPI and net banking are coming soon.
Is it safe to order from a UK company? Yes. De Vere Diamonds Limited is a company registered in England and Wales. You can independently verify our company details, diamond certification and published sourcing and compliance standards before committing. Payments are processed securely, and you can speak with us by video throughout the process
Will I have to pay anything on delivery? Import duties and taxes: Duties and taxes are included in your quote. We handle customs clearance for you, with nothing further to pay on delivery.
Can I see the diamond before I buy? Yes. You’ll see every diamond on film, with its full reports, before you choose.
