At De Vere Diamonds Limited (Trading as De Vere Diamonds), we believe luxury should never come at the expense of people or the planet. From the diamonds we source to the jewellery we create, every decision is guided by our commitment to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles.

Environmental Responsibility
Traceable Diamonds – All of our natural diamonds are fully traceable back to their source. We work only with suppliers who can prove origin and meet strict environmental standards.
Restoring Nature – Through our partnership with Tree-Nation, we are building the De Vere Diamonds Forest to offset our emissions and restore habitats around the world, including wildfire damaged areas in Canada.
Regeneration Projects – Alongside organisations such as GemFair and Diamonds for Peace, we support efforts to restore worked out mine areas into usable farmland to feed and sustain local communities.
Sustainable Packaging – We minimise plastic, use recyclable and FSC-certified materials, and constantly look for ways to reduce waste.
Social Responsibility
Good Diamonds, Not Blood Diamonds – We categorically reject conflict diamonds. Every De Vere diamond contributes to positive social good in the communities it comes from.
Supporting Communities – A portion of proceeds goes back to support artisanal miners, their families, and the wider community.
Empowering Women – We actively promote women in mining, jewellery design, and leadership, ensuring opportunities for growth and empowerment throughout our supply chain.
Fair Working Standards – We expect our suppliers to uphold fair wages, safe working conditions, and respect for human rights.
Governance & Transparency
Strict Due Diligence – Every supplier goes through rigorous KYC, AML, and sanctions checks to ensure compliance and integrity.
OECD Guidance – We align our sourcing with the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Mineral Supply Chains.
Hallmarking & Certification – All of our jewellery complies with UK hallmarking law, ensuring authenticity and consumer protection.
No Greenwashing – We disclose facts, not empty claims, and invite sceptics to explore the evidence behind our commitments.
